MEDITATION, SPIRITUAL JOURNEYS & BIBLICAL TRUTHS

It's been a Long time since I've posted and I just found this draft. Header intact, with nothing else. That must have been about the time I began exploring the bible and religion, after the awakening to it's true origins and to all the other mythology hiding among us for thousands and thousands of years. Wow simply wouldn't express my emotions on this journey nearly enough. First of all, if you love the bible, Please get a copy of G.S. Gaskell's Dictionary of Scripture and Myth. It will only deepen your relationship with it's meaning and love, if you can even imagine! (I really had to search for a cheap used version. You can find one!) You can't even begin to understand the greatest book ever written without it. The bible authors tell us the meaning is hidden and sure enough, it is. But as we enter this new age and new planetary changes, we will come out of the age of division and into an age of unity. Back to our true nature and purpose. The ancient people predicted this time in the bible and in many other cultural myths over thousands of years. The knowledge we've gained through technological advances doesn't even compare, to this day, to what they knew. They understood the universe entirely. In it's past, it's present and it's future. But egomaniacal men of the past buried the meaning to ensure their power, wealth and control over the masses in order to pursue more of the same. As the song wisely stated, it's the dawning of the age of Aquarius. Who predicted that age? Who were these people? Well, we know who Jesus was and he blatantly told us when we would see him (Christ consciousness) come again.
Matthew 14:12 And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?
13 And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.

The symbol for Aquarius is the waterbearer. As the symbol for the age of Pisces, when Jesus came to earth, is the fish. But don't stop there...the meaning is soooo much deeper.

These knowledgeable people were present all over the world. They authored many of the great writings of the past from the Quaran, the Bible, the bagavadgita and more. But did we see it? No. Why? Because we've been brainwashed and the brainwashing continues to this day in every church, synagogue and mosque throughout the world. Well, except for all of those who have passed down the knowledge, studied it more closely and are flooding all the earth with the truth.

And the truth shall set you free...

Where does anyone begin in learning the truth. Well, you begin by going within. In meditation. One of the most important and overlooked verses of the bible tells us where to find God (though there are many which tell us this). But if we focus there too much, we find out how powerful we really are. We find out that we can heal ourselves and find eternal peace. That just doesn't fit in with the plans of the church, the media, corporations on and on and on....They need you, your ego and fear to keep feeding them. What is this verse?
Luke 17: 20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Are the 7 Sacraments and the 7 chakras related?

The 7 chakras located along your spine have been the focus of the ancient people through meditation. (Click here for 7 Chakras / 7 Sacraments info) When you read about anything in the bible in relation to the number 7, this is what it is talking about. The 7 spinning wheels of light and energy located along the spine and attached to the 7 endocrine glands of the body, which directly affect the major organs. (spine is noted as rod, or staff in the bible, by the way) All the numbers have meaning.

This book is not literal. It's myth. Mythology is a deep spiritual truth told in stories. Exterior people, places and things are used to tell a deeper truth. There are a lot of loving and educated people out there opening our hearts with their wisdom today. It would be a great shame to ignore them out of fear. With that, I will direct you to a great website to start with. There are others who can give you even Greater insight to what this blogger proposes. Those who tie in the science and spiritual aspects perfectly. As above, so below. You can't even Fathom the deeper meaning there...But for now, see what Josh has to say. It's an amazing journey. I suggest, as he does on the home page, to start with the Adam and Eve story. Click here for that. From there it would be good to go to the 'Archive' tab at the top and start from his first post.
Or...dive in deep and go through the 'Best of Spirit of the Scripture' to the right. Either way, but that starting point is best.

Peace!

INDOOR GARDEN & YOGA PROGRESS

VEGGIES, FRUIT AND YOGA ABOUND!

YOGA: Accountability? Hm. I was Supposed to post daily on my progress with this. I've been doing a Few poses daily, as you can see. Though I haven't been setting Real time aside to do more, I do have these few daily Yoga staples. Each offers some positive benefits. When I begin to ache, I will bust these moves out wherever I am to achieve relief. I was in this pose, in the ladies room at work, when someone walked in. She was very understanding, and thankfully I did not find myself, in a locked room, being asked if I was angry with my father. Besides, there are Plenty of other reasons for me to be on the lookout for them ;) Though I haven't been Trying to lose weight, I have noticed that I dropped a couple pounds. Not that noticeable on me, but it still made me feel good to know. Pants are Slightly more loose. Hopefully there will be more of this to come. If it does, I will be posting about local thrift shops because I will need a whole new wardrobe! A local thrift shop supports the Good Sheperd Alliance (http://www.loudounhomeless.org/) and I found some nice clothing there last month at fantastic prices. Win win! Keep in mind that I'm a BEGINNER with Yoga, and had Tons of pain over the years that I am slowly working through. So if you are in the same position, ha ha, know that you can relieve yourself of that pain too, and do some simple poses. Eventually more difficult poses as well! I had to work up to one of those above, over a week or so, by stretching daily.

JUICING & EATING RAW: My body has been the recipient of more fruits and veggies in the last few weeks than it's had the pleasure of consuming in my whole life! Again, Love my juicer! I've noticed that my skin seems softer than it was, and a few other positive benefits physically and mentally. This must have something to do with it. I now consume carrots daily and am learning what I like and don't like.  Maybe it will bring back some of those natural red highlights that used to occupy my hair where the grey now resides....One can hope :) I was told yesterday that my skin would turn orange if ate too many carrots, so maybe it can dye my hair too! This weekend I will be trying the famous carrot, beet and ginger drink. Sounds gross, but its supposed to have huge health benefits and offer some good cleansing as well. Poor roommates, we only have one bathroom. I better warn them ahead of time! I think my next post will be a list of the drink combos that I have found to be pleasing. (I haven't published this yet, and I had the drink. The only side affect was that certain bodily 'functions' now had a pink tint to them, so Don't panic if this happens to you first time beet consumers. It's Quite normal.)

INDOOR VEGGIE GARDEN: Yes, I forgot to stake the cherry tomato plant. I realize this could be a disaster, but I'm not worried. I will stake them today and I'll get tomatoes, or I won't. No big deal. The beans have been sprouting up at crazy lengths over night, as well as my radishes. I have way too much Kale popping up. I hope Vicki is ready! I have no room for Kale, Spinach and Lettuce. I planted the mint that was locally grown and purchased at Wegman's. I even made some mint tea. I will be experimenting with basil tea soon also. That plant may become very large also. Maybe Patrick can build me a huge box and we can go dig up some dirt somewhere quickly! It's been a fun experience and next year I will be better prepared. The gnat situation has been annoying though. I did some reading and decided to combine a few tips. I'm going to get some Vaseline, apply to a piece of cardboard and spread a tad of honey over it. The hope is that it will trap these nasty visitors. (Since writing this, I used a couple wooden stakes and yarn that I had laying around to support the forthcoming tomatoes. And I put out some Vaseline and honey.)

HERB & VEGGIE EXCHANGE

I had to rearrange the garden a bit. Luckily Vicki offered to do some veggie exchange. Thank you Vicki! She will be getting some basil (I have 3 kinds: Sweet, Lemon & Lime). She's also offered to grow some of my other vegetation as they become unmanageable in my small indoor quarters. What fun!

I went off my raw diet yesterday full tilt!! iHop and my friend are to blame. I had Nothing to do with it. Innocent by-stander. Today I'm back. Just juiced raspberries, blue berries, spinach, 1 carrot, 1 apple, 1 banana, 1 pear, 1 orange. Very good and added to my list.
